Located in a beautiful historic house in the Centro Storico of Santo Stefano Belbo, a small commune in the Asti area of the Langhe wine region, Marcalberto is a unique Piedmontese family-run Maison, entirely dedicated to producing Spumanti Metodo Classico (traditional method sparkling wines) from Piedmont.
A lifelong experience as a sparkling wine enologist gave Piero Cane fame as the finest “Spumantista” in the region. His small cantina is managed by his sons Marco and Alberto (hence the name Marcalberto) and produces a total of approximately 30,000 bottles a year.
