Cigliuti are one of two significant producers (along with Paitin) who share the revered Serraboella vineyard in Neive. Cigliuti’s signature style is traditional, hand-crafted, distinctively pure and elegant Barbaresco with long ageing potential.
A young Renato Cigliuti was one of the pioneers of green harvesting techniques in the 1960’s as he made the shift from volume production with grapes being sold in bulk (as was the norm at the time) to lower yield, high quality estate bottlings. Further strides in quality were made throughout the 1980’s and today, the entire production cycle is overseen by Renato’s daughters Claudia and Silvia.
