- Self-declared “Artigiano del Vino” Fabio Zambolin is a true Alto Piemonte ‘Garagista’. Back in 2010 Zambolin inherited his grandparent’s vineyards and converted their garage into a winery. The vineyards are located in Cossato, right on the border of the acclaimed Lessona Designation. In addition to his own vineyards, Fabio has a long-term lease on a mixed parcel of Nebbiolo, Vespolina and Croatina in Valdengo. Fabio follows organic practices in the vineyard and minimal intervention in the cellar to make true terroir-driven wines and is fast developing a cult following across the globe.
