Bricco Giubellini was founded in 2002 by former journalists Maria Bianucci and Gigi Garanzini. The 0.75 hectare vineyard at 510/540 meters above sea level is both the highest and the smallest vineyard in Monforte D’Alba. All the work taking place in the vineyard is organic and selective thinning is carried out to reduce yield and improve the quality of the grapes. Winemaking duties are managed by friend and neighbour Fabio Fantino. The wines are available in minuscule quantities and are particularly hard to source.
