Grapes: 95% Barbera + 5% Freisa
Vineyards: Vigna Rorisso, 70/80 years old
Viticulture: Organic viticulture (certified in Italy by Suolo & Salute – Control and Certification Body)
Vinification: Light destemming, followed by a 15-day fermentation in steel vats, with frequent pumping over at 26°- 30°C. Skin contact for a further 30 days + malolactic fermentation in barrel
Ageing: Two years in oak barrels. Bottled unfiltered during the period of the waning moon

Alcohol: 14.5% abv
Colour: Deep ruby red
Nose: Floral and fruity aroma of concentrated berries and tar with hints of blackberry
Palate: Refreshing acidity, rich and soft tannins, excellent balance, great complexity, integration and a long lingering finish
