As a small producer, Fabio imports only thirty cases of his exceptional wines, while maintaining a day job at a reputable Bramaterra winery. His commitment to detail in his organically farmed vineyard and cellar is evident in the pristine equipment and the care he takes during production. He collaborates with skilled enologist Cristiano Garella, ensuring top-notch quality.
Alto Piemonte's unique geology, shaped by volcanic activity and tectonic shifts, creates diverse soils. Lessona's sandy soils offer high aromas and a lifted palate, with heavy iron content contributing salinity and mineral textures. Unlike the more famous Langhe region, Northern Piedmont experiences more precipitation and cooler alpine air, enhancing the complexity and elegance of its wines. The growing season is longer, with Nebbiolo bud break occurring later but harvesting typically two to three weeks after Barolo or Barbaresco, depending on the vintage.
