Roero is located in southern Piedmont, just across the Tanaro river from the Langhe, the area that includes Barolo and Barbaresco. The Roero growing area includes 19 ‘comuni’ (towns). From the 2017 vintage, all vineyards within the area are legally delimited. Roero is famous for Arneis, Piedmont’s signature white wine. However, if you choose wisely, you will discover outstanding Nebbiolo wines that possess the same elegance, perfume, structure and finesse that characterise Roero’s most famous neighbours.
