The Emilia-Romagna is located in the North of Italy, just over the Apennine mountains from Tuscany. Though officially recognised as a single region, Emilia and Romagna have very different geographies and wines. Emilia is located in the west and it is well known for the production of the Lambrusco sparkling wine, Romagna is located in the east and its most widely planted red grape is Sangiovese. The subzone Predappio is fast building a reputation as the very best area for Sangiovese. We are proud to represent Chiara Condello, one of the emerging stars of the region.
