Often mistakenly overlooked, Fratelli Alessandria is an historic 19th century cantina located in the heart of Verduno, at the northern edge of the Barolo zone. In its 14 hectares of vineyards, split between Verduno and Monforte d’Alba, the cantina produces approx. 5,000 bottles per vintage. The family totally focuses on the work in the vineyard, with low yields to obtain excellent quality grapes. Grapes are harvested by hand and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Ageing takes place in the family’s cellar in used Slavonian and French oak barrels.
