The holdings of the famous Fratelli Revello were divided equally in 2016 to delineate operations for the children of both Carlo and his brother Enzo. Carlo now works with his eldest son Erik producing a classic Barolo and a Barolo blend from the Rocche dell’Annunziata, Giachini and Conca vineyards out of his new cantina in the Santa Maria hamlet of La Morra. Carlo is a producer to watch as he replaces more barriques each year with large Slavonian oak casks and begins to re-introduce single cru bottlings for both Giachini and Rocche dell’Annunziata (riserva) from 2016.
